Clinics & Services
These are held at Sighthill Health Centre on Tuesdays (09:00 – 11:00) run by the midwives in consultation with the GP’s and the obstetricians from Simpson Maternity Unit.
The drop-in baby clinic is held every Thursday morning between 09.30 and 11.30am.
Routine checks on child development and immunisations are carried out. The health visitors and doctors are also available to discuss any child health problems.
Contraceptive Services & Cervical Smears
These are available from any of the doctors in the normal surgeries.
Cervical smears are also available by prior appointment with the nurses in the treatment room and with the practice nurse.
Adults (age 16-75) who have not been seen in the practice for more than 3 years may phone to ask for a health check. This also applies to patients over 75 who have not been seen for more than 12 months.
Dr Tony Harrison and Dr Chris Nickerson perform minor surgery by special appointment. In addition there is a regular wart clinic.
There is a fully equipped treatment room at the health centre. Exact opening times are available from reception.

Other Services Available
Many other services are available to the community from the Health Centre. These include dentistry, physiotherapy, psychiatry and dietetics.
